My family has a little girl basset, one year old next month (first picture, below).

We have always had our dogs spayed, but decided with Baylee to have a brood.

We know nothing about it.
Can you tell me where we might find local (Carlsbad California) help? She is a pure bred basset, but we haven't received her papers from the breeder we bought her from.
We don't want to do this for money, but we would like to do it right.

Any advise or direction would be greatly appreciated
