I also have a blue Basset. I am always on the lookout for more information about them. But I am very tired of people saying how "undesirable" and "prone to terrible health problems" they are. Since I got mine I have spoken with many people that are blessed to have a blue Basset. Neither theirs nor mine have have health problems that many other Bassets have. i.e. dry skin or allergies

I think instead of posting about perceived problems that blues *may* have, it would be better to hear from the owners/companions that have blue Bassets. I love to hear about the antics of Bassets no matter what color!
