I am so sorry for your loss!

My first basset died in my arms at the Vet's years back, the Vet, her assistant and I all cried profusely. We all loved him a great deal!

I was alone for a few years before I decided I could risk the pain of that loss again. Baxter is no Fred, but he is special in his own way and I love him as well.
