Hi. I have a coming 2 year old tri colored basset named Alli (aka. Alli-e-gator). She is a wonderful freind and companion! I got her from a breeder this last summer, and when I got her, she had this beautiful jet black saddle on her back, but the older she gets, the more diluted with the brown hairs she getsand it looks like she is part skunk. Now my question is this... Will she ever get the black back or will she always have the brown streak down her back like a skunk? Has anyone else had this happen to them? Any answers will be greatful! I will post a pict soon!
