I thought females didn't go into heat if they were fixed? Although, this is kind of embarrassing, a friend of my BF has a female basset that kept mounting and rubbing my BF's leg! I'm afraid if I get a female bassett it will do the same thing?? He thought it was funny, I thought it was gross!
